The first season was broadcast on Bitme in Mexico and other countries of Latin America, airing every day beginning November 18, 2020.

Other Latin American local stations which aired the anime included Telecentro in the Dominican Republic, from 1995 to 1998 Canal Uno and Caracol Televisión in Colombia, from 1996 to 2000 CHV and ETC tv in Chile, from 1996 to 2002 and again from 2011 to 2015 Magic Kids in Argentina, from 1996 to 1998 and Repretel 6 in Costa Rica showed the first season from 1996 to 1999 and again from 2016 to 2018. In August 2017, 21 years after its original broadcast, it returned to Azteca 7, which showed an hour (three episodes) of the show. Reruns aired on Cartoon Network Latin America. At first it aired Monday-Friday from 3:00-4:00 pm, but it was later moved to Saturdays from 11:00 am-12:00 pm.

The Sailor Moon R movie was dubbed under the title "La leyenda de la Reina Xenian" (Legend of Queen Xenian), the Sailor Moon S movie as "La princesa de la luna" (The princess from the moon), and the Sailor Moon SuperS movie as "El milagro del agujero negro de los sueños" (The miracle of the black hole of dreams").įrom February 1996 until 1999, the show aired on Mexican local station, Azteca 7. All of the episodes were aired without major changes except for episode 89, which was the only episode never dubbed.
The dub was directed by Gloria Rocha for the first season, and by Patricia Acevedo (who also provided the voice for Usagi Tsukino/ Sailor Moon) for the second through fifth seasons.Īll five seasons were dubbed, as were the three movies. The Sailor Moon anime was dubbed by Intertrack and produced by Cloverway in Mexico, beginning in 1995.
